If you have problems with your installation and problems with DraftSight also occur after a new installation, perform a "Clean Re-Installation" to remove any leftover settings from previous installations.
1. Please log in as administrator
2. Uninstall DraftSight
go to Windows Control Panel > Apps > Apps and Features
- Click on DraftSight and select "Uninstall"
3. Deleting various folders:
- Navigate to the "%Appdata%\DraftSight" folder (note that this folder is a hidden folder and you have turned on its visibility in the explorer options)
- Delete / Rename the DraftSight Folder: This step puts DraftSight in the state as if it were being installed on the machine for the first time. If you have already made adjustments to DraftSight, you should only rename the folder in order to have access to your settings at a later point in time
